Welcome to the site of KVS Ernakulam Region, newly constituted in April 2012 and one among the 25 Regions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body functioning under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

          Located in the beautiful landscape of KOCHI, popularly known as 'Queen of the Arabian Sea', the region has 39 Kendriya Vidyalayas under its jurisdiction including 37 KVs of Kerala, ‘God’s own country’ along with KV Mahe in Union Territory of Puduchery and KV Kavaratti in Lakshadeep Islands. The region caters to educational needs of around 50,000 students and around 1500 employees are working for the organization as on 01.10.2012.

          Kendriya Vidyalayas are premier educational institutions promoting National Integration and imparting Value based quality education with the aid of advanced technologies. The main objective is to empower and equip students to meet futuristic challenges both nationally and globally.
